Please reach us at vietvethelp@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
Viet Vet Help was started because of the multiple health issues Keith Smith developed and later died from his exposure to Agent Orange.
This site was created to provide resources to help Vietnam Veterans who may be finding that they are developing numerous health issues decades after their time in Vietnam, specifically from exposure to Agent Orange.
We've created a step-by-step method for you to access care for your health conditions.
Go through the links provided directly above and below the photo of Keith's Vietnam Recon group on the Home Page of this website to get started.
Though it may seem daunting, the US Dept. of Veteran's Affairs is here to help. You MUST have your materials in order to make your case.
We have provided checklists and insights we gained helping Keith navigate the VA system while he was actively dying from his exposure to Agent Orange.
No. We want to help all Vietnam Veterans who have served their country since March 1965, when the first troops were deployed.
We want all Vietnam Vets and their families to be prepared BEFORE health conditions overwhelm and stop them from advocating for their loved one.
On July 12, 2022, the PACT Act added two additional medical conditions and five new Agent Orange locations for those who served in Vietnam.
We think there should be more! Specifically, Glioblastoma, a terminal brain cancer diagnosis should be included in the PACT Act. (Go to the PACT Act Links & Pages on this site for a complete list.)
Glioblastoma is now listed in the PACT Act for Gulf War veterans. We think the same Presumptive Status should be given to Vietnam Veterans.
If you have a medical condition that you think was caused by Agent Orange, and not listed as a Presumptive Condition, you need to contact your state's US Senators!
By adding your medical condition to the list of Presumptive Conditions, you and other Vietnam Veterans suffering the same conditions can get needed medical help and possible compensation.
If you have questions about Viet Vet Help, or have some connections or insights that can help other Vietnam Veterans, feel free to send us a message. We will get back to you as soon as possible.
